QuiKeys launches comprehensive hardware-based Modular Workflow Solution for Photographers
New Raw Module completes QuiKeys workflow trilogy for RAW, retouching, and album design.
New York, NY (October, 2008) - QuiKeys (www.quikeys.com) publicly released its highly anticipated new RAW workflow module for Adobe Lightroom 2.0 at New York’s PhotoPlus Expo. This latest addition to their workflow system completes the world’s first comprehensive suite of hardware-based workflow solutions for Photoshop and Lightroom users.
The physical base of the QuiKeys workflow system is a customized 57-key keyboard. This keyboard is an optimized ergonomic work-surface designed to replace the QWERTY keyboard for all image-related computer editing tasks. “We’ve literally taken the tools of Photoshop and Lightroom and put them in the palm of your hand,” explains Quin Cheung, co-creator and founder of Quikeys. Users add software modules to this hardware base to speed common image post-processing tasks in Photoshop and Lightroom including RAW conversion, image retouching and album design. This unique modular design allows users to invest in one software module, and add others at a later time, creating a flexible system which grows with their needs.
"Time is money, and QuiKeys’ unique workflow solution gives photographers a competitive edge in artistry and profitability," says Dave Cheung. “We’ve had the entire suite in mind since we launched QuiKeys for Photoshop in 2007 and are very proud to pioneer this unchartered field of hardware-based workflow tools.”
QuiKeys users report amazing speed increases not found in any other workflow system. After seeing a live demonstration of QuiKeys, Ron Watson, President of the American Press Association, called it "The most amazing and innovative time-saving creative tool for the professional photographer. A must product for the photo editor."
